Your generous support will allow the Lambton County Library to continue to provide books, newspapers, magazines, audio books, videos, talking books, reference materials for adults and children; to purchase computer equipment to meet customer demand for information technology and to provide programs such as children’s story hours.
Your gift to the library in memory of a friend or loved one provides a lasting tribute, which benefits the entire community. You can also celebrate happy times such as the birthday of a child or special friend with a gift to the library in their name. You may suggest material on a specific subject, or ask the library to choose for you. Each book will carry a bookplate with your name as donor and the name of the person honoured and notification sent to the family, as appropriate.
Your organization's gift to the library makes you a partner in providing quality library service to the community. You may earmark the funds for materials in your particular area of interest. Programs and equipment are popular activities for service club sponsorship.
Remembering your library in your will provides a lasting memorial in your community. Recent bequests to the Sarnia and Forest libraries have enhanced their ability to serve their communities. Discuss this with your lawyer and accountant during your consultations
Donations of used books, videos and audio books are often useful additions to our collection. If not , they can be sold at the library book sales where the proceeds help purchase new books or equipment.
