PROGRAMS
Lambton County Library offers a variety of programs of interest to children and adults. Programs are designed to entertain and inform, and to introduce the public to the Library's services. Most branches offer storytime and other programs for children year round. The popular Summer Reading Program operates during the summer vacation.
Attendance at most programs is free and open to the public, although a small fee may be charged to cover materials at some programs (i.e. crafts). Donations towards the cost of providing the programs are always welcome. Advanced registration is required for many popular programs.
Programs are conducted by library staff, often assisted by talented individuals and organizations from the community. Many programs are supported and co-sponsored by local businesses and organizations. If your organization wishes help with sponsoring a program, please contact the Public Services Supervisor at 519-845-3324 or your local Branch Librarian.
Check our monthly calendars, this website or ask branch staff for details on specific programs.
