Partners Active In
Resource Sharing (P.A.I.R.S.) is a community based and supported program enhancing the
educational experiences of students through continuous and effective interaction among
community partners.
The purpose of
P.A.I.R.S.
- develop and maintain a
co-operative relationship between business/industry, community agencies and the schools; ;
- develop an understanding by
business/industry, community agencies and education of each other's role, goals, needs and
challenges;
- enrich the educational program through
the talents, expertise and knowledge of business/industry and community agencies;'
- expose students to career opportunities
and the educational requirements to successfully pursue these careers;
- provide employers and employees with an
awareness of the issues, challenges and decisions facing today's youth.
